I made a decision to cut ties with the few friends I had in
the building because quite frankly I can't tell who are real friends & who
are just pretending to be friends (the people acting like jerks are easy enough
to figure out). This letter (see below)
was given to two units who I did consider friends when I first got to know
them, but at this point am not sure whether I can trust them enough not to be a
part of the people that are spreading the vicious rumors. Luckily I have at least one who has already
gotten back to me & said there is no hostility between him & I, so even
through I removed him from Facebook earlier, he was re-added within an hour of
removal. I'll wait to see if the other
unit decides to rekindle the friendship, but I'm not going to hold my breath
over it (if anything, I'll be holding my breath because of the smoking).
