Indoor smoking/drug use continues to be a problem in Building E of the South 67 Condos.  Currently the source of the pollution is unverified, but seeing as it’s strongest in the public hallways on the other side of where E26’s dining area would be, I expect it’s coming from there (like usual).  It’s been happening for a while now, but without verification of the source, I debated putting up a log or not.  It appears to still be a problem for this long without verification & it can also be smelled in the public hallways particularly around their unit, so I decided to put up the log regardless currently as unverified, but as a continuing problem in Building E.

Health problems from indoor pollution today:
  • Chest Pains
  • Coughing
  • Dizziness
  • Earaches
  • Headaches
  • Irritated Eyes
  • Migraines
  • Nausea
  • Ringing Ear
  • Sore Throat
  • Trouble Breathing
UPDATE:  Started smelling what smelled like cigarette smoke around 8 AM.  At first I thought it was the popcorn I burned a little bit, but the smell just kept getting stronger.  As far as I know, nobody currently in E26 smokes cigarettes (I caught one person in that unit doing it over 2 years ago, but I haven’t see that person for a while), so I think it’s somebody else in the building doing it at this point.  As for who, that’s still to be determined…

UPDATE:  Started smelling the spice/incense smell again (which normally comes from E26 when it effects my unit) when I went into my home office, so I started up the stream again.  Still not certain where the cigarette smell is coming from, but I would have to guess E28.

UPDATE:  When I went to bed around noon, the smell that normally comes from E26 was starting up again, however at the time I was more interested in going to bed rather than staying up & streaming more illnesses caused by these inconsiderate assholes.  This time it wasn’t a matter of going to bed ill, however if I had stayed up much longer, that would have been the case.  I got hit with a pretty bad chest pain as I was about to go to bed (much worse than the every day chest pains I have from the pollution).

At this point I’m attempting to find a way to add a time/date overlay to my streams, so that specific times will be displayed directly on the video like my security camera do.  The plugin I found for the software I’m using appears to be too old to work to work with the updated software, so for the time being I guess that’s out the window.  The idea is if I can do this, I can leave the archives of those streams on my channel as documentation of the problem for proof of the matter, rather than just relying on single broadcasts as the problem is happening & written logs.  I can still do the video illness logs, but following time might be a problem if there is not a visual indicator of what the time was as the video progresses.  While the streaming of health problems does seems to have some effect of deterrence in the matter, it does not last if I turn the stream off when I no longer detect the pollution, so I’m considering leaving it running at all times while awake, regardless of whether the pollution is continuing or not; I’ll probably wait for that until I have a working time/date plugin, however.

When I woke up (or rather, rudely woken up by a call from my father) I noticed a smell as soon as I woke up.  I waited a bit to see if that smell was coming from the space heater my father is lending me.  After a while it became apparent that it wasn’t, so I went to figure out where it was coming from after I got my father off of the phone.  There was the normal e-cig/hookah smell coming from E26, but it wasn’t exactly what I smell in my unit; I can say that the smell coming from E26 is probably a part of it.  I turned the stream back on at this point.

UPDATE:  Looks like E26 no longer gives a shit that the health problems they are causing is getting aired live considering their continuing the pollution regardless of the fact.  Well I just spoke to Bruce Cutler about this after he stated there was nothing he could do regarding changing the laws for better protection for non-smokers or the police not responding to the drug use issues, so maybe he’ll find the broadcast, see how bad the situation is & hopefully take another look at it.  The fact that I have to wear a respirator in my own home should be reason enough to consider if anything REALLY can’t be done about it…

UPDATE:  Noticed the pollution stopped for a short time after the last update after I took of my respirator, however it became noticeable again at 7:29 PM.  I was about to shut off the stream temporarily to take a shower, however I wonder if it would make more sense to leave it on since I expect the coughing should still be picked up by my laptop down the hall.

UPDATE:  I made a final statement in my stream last night stating that I was heading to bed, which at that point the e-cig/hookah smell increased rather rapidly.  When I did get in bed, I could even smell it in my bedroom, which is somewhat resistant to the smell & only has the problem when the smell is particularly strong.

When I woke up the next day, I found my body in an odd position on the bed, one I knew I wouldn't intentionally sleep in & one I know I couldn't get into from where I start when I go to sleep.  I had to review my security camera logs to find out how it happened.  Looks like after I went to bed, I attempted to stand up & get out of bed.  From the looks of it, the increase in pollution last night after I stated I was going to bed in my stream was SO extreme, I fell back on the bed due to dizziness caused by the pollution after attempting to stand up.  It didn't stop there, however...  My head continued to fall backwards & hit the wall behind me, knocking me unconscious.  I didn't wake up until around 4:30 AM the next day.  For the blow to be strong enough to knock me out & my head to bounce back after impact, I wouldn't be surprised if I didn't have a concussion; what I am surprised of is I'm not in a coma...  The back of my head is a little tender, but there's not a lot of pain; maybe because I took Tylenol before I went to bed to deal with the headaches, migraines & chest pains to help me sleep.  One thing I did notice when I went to bed however, was that I started getting earaches again, so I think I might be taking too much Tylenol again (even if it's still under the directions indicated on the bottle), which means my ears are likely going to burst again (this has happened 3 times in the past & it nearly always was expected it was because I was taking too many pain killers, even if it was still within the dosage guidelines specified on the bottle).

Indoor temperature in my unit reached a peek low of 62° F today due to being unable to use my heater via central air because of the pollution coming from other units.  This is also why I've had my gas shut off since September of 2015.  This run of the pollution problem has been happening every day since 12/6/2015.
