Indoor smoking/drugs still a problem in Building E of the South 67 Condos, once again the spice smell is confirmed to be coming from E26.  I'm expecting another very long day of indoor pollution from E26 with NUMEROUS texts going to Charles on it.  First text of the day about the pollution went to Charles at 4:21 AM.  Because of this pollution, I have been using my respirator most of the morning, but obviously I'm going to get affected by it when I take it of for various tasks I'm going to need my mouth or nose for.  This run of the pollution has been happening every day since 12/6/2015.

Health problems from indoor pollution today:
  • Blurry Vision
  • Chest Pains
  • Coughing
  • Dizziness
  • Headaches
  • Irritated Eyes
  • Migraines
  • Nausea
  • Ringing Ears
  • Sore Throat
UPDATE:  Looks like that bastard in E26 has gotten the pollution level into the extremes again.  I’ll be sending another text to Charles shortly, even though he hasn’t responded to the first one yet.

UPDATE:  Texted Charles again at 7:45 AM about a chemical smell (I'm guessing some kind of drug, not really one I'm familiar with by smell) coming from E26.  That smell is coming from E22's front door pretty strong, but the smell can also be smelled in the public hallway on the other side of wall from where his dining room would be.  What I found amusing about this was that I was writing a new text to Charles about this when he contacted me back only seconds before.  Ended up having to put my respirator back on due to the toxicity level of the pollution, going to continue searching for that contact to report environmental health hazards.

UPDATE:  Woke up after a short nap (which is about all the sleep I get anymore), went into the hall to see if I had gotten my package yet, literally got hit in the face right at my doorway with the smell of e-cigs or hookah (that smell really is undetermined, but this is what it smells like).  It was particularly strong in the public hallways & the source was easy to determine since it was strongest directly in front of the wall that would be the other side of E26's dining area.  The smell isn't as strong in my unit, but it is strong enough to be a problem & I had to put my respirator back on for the time being.  I sent Charles another text regarding this, but don't look like I'm going to get a response any time soon (probably stuck in meetings again).

I did find something about reporting residential dwellings as uninhabitable, but the guidelines for doing so seems to be somewhat vague.  I'm considering calling that organization, see if indoor drug use can be a valid use to have that classification made by the Utah Board of Health.  Seems these kinds of problems can also be reported through the local DEA.  This is a lot easier to do if you're a landlord or building manager, so I think the easiest way to get it done would be for Charles to do it (not that I expect he would).  In any case, I could just keep filing complaints through anonymous tip hotlines & websites; if enough complaints are filed, maybe the police will get a search warrant to do a drug raid on that unit.  After yesterday when the police came to answer the noise complaint about his dog barking & him not answering the door (ultimately just leaving an Animal Control notice on his door), it's obvious he's using the same police avoidance tactics that Julie & Lloyd (both with lengthy criminal histories) did (I don't know if he knew about these avoidance tactics before following my logging regarding this matter, so I half-blame myself for possibly inadvertently giving him the idea based on logging of other criminals in the building).  He was arrested once in 2007, so maybe he already knew it...  When the pollution coming from his unit is particularly bad, I'm going to start filing illegal drug use complaints against him through various websites & hotlines, see if it ever gets through his head to knock it off.

UPDATE:  Seems the bastard in E26 don't really care if I keep getting the police involved seeing as he's still causing the pollution, so I guess it's time to start making some reports.  I know of at least 3 organizations I can make reports through (other than directly to the police), let's start with one today & see if he gets the picture.

And I texted Charles again, found out why he has been unable to deal with this problems personally today.  That's personal information, so I won't get into it on these logs.

UPDATE:  First one filed.  Seems the pollution has only increased, so I guess I'll go through the other tip hotlines/websites I know of & see if I can find any others.

UPDATE:  After the last update, I chose not to file another report against Mr. Pollution because it stopped afterwards for at least a few hours (or at least lessened to the point it wasn't a problem).  Considering it's starting up again, looks like he's shooting for report number two today.  Looks like I'm having trouble finding the sites I've used in the past, but if it hasn't stopped by the time I locate those sites, I'm going to be filing another anonymous police report against his drug use on another site.

UPDATE:  Attempted to file the second crime tip today, site errored out.  I'll give it another try.  Second tip will be filed today since that bugger hasn't gotten it through his head he needs to knock it off yet; we'll see if he wants to shoot for 3 today if it continues.

UPDATE:  Looks like he might be retaliating to this method also, so I'm going to be sending another text to Charles as well.  I'll fill Charles in on what I did that worked so well until the bastard decided to start up again within the last hour.

UPDATE:  Second police report today through anonymous tip hotlines/websites has been filed.  Let's see if he wants to go for more today by continuing the indoor pollution.

UPDATE:  Seems the mention of contacting the police gets his attention & stopped (or at least lowered the pollution levels to the point it was health hazardous).

UPDATE:  Seems the mention of contacting the police gets his attention & stopped (or at least lowered the pollution levels to the point it wasn't health hazardous) for several hours today.  The second time it didn't work so well, but the first time it did make an impact for around 5 hours (give or take).  I'm going to make this clear; I am not bluffing on this, I did contact the police twice today through anonymous tip hotlines/websites.  Plus yesterday I contacted the police with the inclusion of a noise disturbance being his dog barking non-stop right at his front doorway (which I honestly think he's doing on purpose; he was there given the pollution was still happening, but he obviously had no intention in getting the mutt to stop barking).  The fact that he had an Animal Control notice stuck to his door should have been enough warning that I'm serious about getting the police involved when I have to & it is no bluff when I say I've already contacted them.  Most of the time I will not do an immediate update when I have contacted the police (or Charles) however, seeing as I would like them to be caught in the act when they police comes by (or Charles calls them).  When the police came knocking on their door yesterday, you knew they were there because of the smell, which stopped temporarily after the update I made on it (or possibly the police knocking on their door; I didn't actually see the police that day, but I did see the notice on their front door).  I will keep getting the police & other organizations involved as long as this continues to be a problem.  I still have not heard back from District 44, House Representative Bruce Cutler yet, so perhaps I'll send him a follow-up response to see where it's headed.

Peak low temp in my unit reached 62° today due to being unable to use my heater via central air because of the pollution coming from E26.  This is also the reason why I had my gas shut off in September of 2015, knowing that I wouldn't be able to use it while this indoor pollution problem persisted.  This run of pollution has kept me from getting over a cold (or at least the remaining symptom of that cold) for over 3 months & also has an indefinite hold on getting the remaining of my dental work done, seeing as it's going to be hard for the dentist to work in my mouth when I can't stop coughing.
