Health problems from indoor pollution today:
- Blurry Vision
- Chest Pains
- Coughing
- Dizziness
- Headaches
- Irritated Eyes
- Nausea
- Ringing Ears
- Sore Throat
- Trouble Breathing
- Vomiting
UPDATE: Ended up having to put my respirator back on about 3:45 PM, seeing as this bastard is making it a point that he's not going to stop regardless of what's done. He stops when I publish that picture of him, but starts up again directly after I take it back down, hence the game he's made out of it...
UPDATE: It appears that somebody may actually be living in E22 now, so I can't entirely put the blame on E26 anymore, but I still expect the majority of the pollution from E26 is still entering the public hallways through E22. This might work out to my advantage however... If that pollution is constantly bothering the person who is living there (sounded like a woman when I walked past), they might start complaining to Charles about it & I'll get a little leverage in getting it resolved. After the commotion last night when the police were called however, I highly doubt they would take my side on it; in any case I'm pretty certain everybody in the building heard it; I saw a few people who looked like they were hurrying out the front door of the building while I was discussing (ranting is probably more accurate) the problem with the police. But who knows, maybe the owner will be sympathetic to my problems & not treat me like the last 3 people that moved in & became hostile/discriminatory within a week of moving in. In any case, I don't plan on going over there to introduce myself seeing as it's all too common for the rumors to get to new people & quickly build a reputation for myself that may not even be true (I may not know what's being said in those rumors, but I'm sure it's nothing good & there's probably some blatant lies or exaggerations in them as well). In any case if they do decide to introduce themselves, I won't reject that offer of possibly a friendly neighbor; God knows I could use some more friendly people in the building (only have 2 units I can consider friends currently) until I move out, although I think that's highly unlikely after the commotion last night.
The pollution for the most part has been consistent throughout the day; while slightly over the border of being tolerable for most of the day, it did get pretty strong on a few occasions & I had to use my trump card of posting that guy's picture online while it was in that toxicity range (which seems to get his attention to knock it off if only briefly; later I added a picture of myself wearing the respirator in response to the pollution coming from his unit). However I got a call today while I was in the shower, I'm wondering if that might have been Charles attempting to call me (tried to do a reverse phone lookup to find out who it was, as well as searching on Google, but didn't come up with anything other than being a CenturyLink landline), probably to chew me out over what happened last night. I was half expecting my father to call me & chew me out, but I've talked to him a few times today & he didn't seem to have any hostility towards me (other than when I was trying to explain something about my income tax return, which he apparently wasn't getting until I had attempted to explain it several different ways) about what I was expecting a call on. If a lawsuit or (illegal) foreclosure was put into effect, I suppose I'll find out in a day or two, then I'll have to take my last step in this fight for clean air, which will be the last action I take while I'm alive...
Later in the day, I decided to start using my respirator as much as I could to try & deal with the pollution while I had the ability to use it. Obviously I can't use it while eating, drinking, sleeping, taking a shower, using a microphone, talking on the phone or anything else where I can't have anything covering my nose/mouth, but I suppose I can use it when I need to. Also I'm going to be leaving my blinds open while I'm using it to point out to others that something is off for somebody to have to use a respirator in their own home regularly rather than only for specific tasks, then hopefully start questioning management why that is.
UPDATE: Throughout the day, the bugger in E26 continued this game of persistence in stopping the pollution when I published the picture of him, then starting against almost immediately after being taken down (sometimes even before it was taken down). So I decided to show him that two could play at his game & matched his persistence in putting up the picture as soon as I smelled the pollution & taking it down only when it was low enough that I could hardly smell it; sometimes it wouldn't even be a full second before it got put up, for most of the night that picture wasn't taken down for even a full minute at a time. This happened the entire night until I went to bed.
Indoor temperature in my unit reached a peak low of 63° today due to being unable to use my heater via central air due to the pollution coming from E26. This is also why I've had my gas shut off in September of 2015, knowing that I wouldn't be able to use my heater while this consistent pollution problem continued from inconsiderate neighbors & I didn't want to have to continue paying a fee to keep on a utility I wasn't using. This run of the problem has been happening every day since 12/6/2015.
